White & Rose Wines

Adobe Sauvignon Blanc ORGANIC

BRONZE SOMMELIER WINE AWARDS
Fresh lime zest and green pepper aromas on the nose are carried through to the mineral palate,
which is alive with crunchy fruit, zest and a long, long zippy finish.

Novas Gran Reserva Chardonnay

IWSC BRONZE
Golden yellow in colour, the nose has white peach aromas with citrus notes mingled with banana and toasted nuts. Creamy on the palate, with great density, balanced acidity, a velvety texture and an intense, persistent finish reminiscent of bread and butter pudding.

Catalan Eagle White, Garnacha Blanca Viognier 2013 -Organic

WINES FROM SPAIN AWARDS 2014 – ‘TOP 102’ WINES
A delicate floral nose with white stone fruit and grapefruit. The palate has more stone fruit and citrus, with more precise flavours of pear and melon and minerality, with warm spice and savoury notes. The wine has a rich texture and is wonderfully integrated.

Domaine de la Motte Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2012

IWSC FRENCH WINE PRODUCER OF THE YEAR
Low-yielding old vines now approaching a minimum of 50 years reveal themselves in a concentrated rich style with wonderful aromas of delicate flint and baked apple. The age of the vines also influence the palate, which has added complexity, richness and depth of flavor. A wonderfully fresh wine with a silky smooth, long and dry mineral finish.

Domaine des Maillettes, Pouilly Fuisse Grande Reserve, 2012

A quite rich Burgundian white that reveals finesse and balance throughout.  Creamy and buttery with a lovely blob of oak that adds a slightly nutty character to this beautiful wine.  Rich but restrained, there is a real elegance and sense of quality that shines through til the end.

Circle of Life White 2012 BIODYNAMIC

SILVER SOMMELIER WINE AWARDS
On appearance this wine shows an alluring green tinge, revealing delicate flavor of melon and hints of tropical fruit. The tension between the tight mineral core and creamy middle palate allows for great complexity and a persistent finish.

Rumauresq Cru Classe Rose, 2013

SILVER SOMMELIER WINE AWARDS
Ultra pale in colour, clean and fresh on the nose and the palate. This is pure finesse – a really fine and very classy wine, worthy of it’s Cru Classe status. Not one dimensional, nor is there one fruit character coming through, instead it has lifted characters of red currant and wild red berries. The palae is fine yet flavoursome with savoury, mineral hints but at the same time it is pretty and fruity and the finish is exquisite! This is a lovely expression of the grapes and the land.
